We ventured out into the center of Lugano to see what the situation is like: shutters were down, signs placed at the entrances with telephone numbers and good wishes. This is how the first week starts for the next six weeks (since they were announced by the Federal Council) of shop and business closures begins throughout Switzerland. While Bern releases the usual reassurance on «aid» during this (second) exceptional situation.
