For the first time ever Omega has made their first collaboration with Swatch and it is names the "MoonSwatch". The queue this morning in downtown Lugano was long with around 150-200 people in line  wanting to get their hands on this new watch.  Many have spent the night lined up in in front of the store. The first, even, arrived yesterday evening around 6pm. The brands have been inspired by space for their designs, resulting in a collection of eleven Swatch models that are named after planetary bodies, ranging from the Sun at the heart of the solar system to the dwarf planet on its periphery. All Swatches are made of BIOCERAMIC, a unique blend of two-thirds ceramic and one-third material derived from castor oil. While colors such as pink and light blue suggest quite clearly that they're not going to be looking at standard Speedmaster watches, loyal Moonwatch fans will have to work hard to find the differences in the overall appearance. While the price of MoonSwatch is around 250 chf, by visiting platforms such as Ebay it is already possible to find the watch for sale at a much higher price, such as 2,000 or even 3,000 chf. While waiting to buy this watch finally, we are told that the people at the front of the queue are handing out "numbers" to all the people joining the queue. A do-it-yourself approach that seems to be saving disorder, confusion and arguments.
