The plaque, yellow rather than green, is the highest award bestowed by the renowned online guide and is granted to only 1 percent of the restaurants in the world.

With an average ranking of 5 out of 5 points, the restaurant is the top-ranked in Lugano restaurant on the site devoted to food reviews, yet this international recognition is obviously even more significant, as chef Marco Badalucci explains, "When we received the announcement we were surprised but above all incredibly excited!
