Lugano to commemorate Marco Borradori

The city of Lugano will gather in remembrance of Mayor Marco Borradori (1959-2021). "One year after the untimely death of the beloved Mayor Marco Borradori, Lugano City Hall will hold a memorial moment on Thursday, Aug. 11, at 6:10 p.m. on the patio of the Civic Palace. After a short remembrance by Mayor Michele Foletti, the musicians Maristella Patuzzi and Andreas Laake will perform pieces from Antoine-Barthélémy Bruni's "Duo concertante." The patio of the Palazzo Civico will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. to permit those who wish to do so to turn their thoughts to Marco Borradori in front of a tribute composition."
