Swiss: Quarterly result positive in accordance with early indications

The airline Swiss has achieved a positive result in its second quarter: this was the indication provided today -- with no concrete figures advanced -- by the Lufthansa Group, which submitted provisional numbers for the conglomerate.

Group sales stood at 8.5 billion euros, versus 3.2 billion in the same period last year, which was heavily marked by the pandemic. The adjusted Ebit operating profit is expected to be between 350 million and 400 million: in Q2 2021, the result was a negative 827 million.

Lufthansa and Swiss will present their financial statements on August 4.
